Na realidade, nada se move mais r\u00e1pido que a velocidade da luz \u2013 e em uma PCB, os sinais viajam significativamente mais devagar devido aos materiais envolvidos. As trilhas de PCB se comportam como <strong>Linhas de transmiss\u00e3o<\/strong>, onde as ondas eletromagn\u00e9ticas se propagam a uma velocidade finita determinada pelo ambiente diel\u00e9trico.<\/p><p>Esta velocidade finita introduz <strong>Atraso de propaga\u00e7\u00e3o<\/strong>o tempo necess\u00e1rio para que uma transi\u00e7\u00e3o de sinal (a transi\u00e7\u00e3o de subida ou descida) percorra um tra\u00e7o de uma extremidade \u00e0 outra.<\/p><p><strong>Atraso de Propaga\u00e7\u00e3o em PCBs Reais:<\/strong><\/p><p>No padr\u00e3o <strong>Material FR-4<\/strong>\u2014o substrato de PCB mais comum, com uma constante diel\u00e9trica de aproximadamente <em>4.0\u20134.5<\/em>\u2014o atraso de propaga\u00e7\u00e3o do sinal \u00e9 bem compreendido:<\/p><p>O atraso de propaga\u00e7\u00e3o t\u00edpico varia de <strong>140 a 180 picolissegundos por polegada (ps\/in)<\/strong>, dependendo da geometria da trilha e do stackup.<\/p><ul><li><em>Trilhas de microstrip<\/em> (camadas externas) geralmente caem em torno de 140\u2013150 ps\/in.<\/li><li><em>Trilhas de stripline<\/em> (camadas internas) s\u00e3o mais lentas, tipicamente 160\u2013180 ps\/in.<\/li><\/ul><p>Em termos pr\u00e1ticos, isso corresponde a uma velocidade de sinal de aproximadamente <strong>6 polegadas por nanossegundo<\/strong>, ou cerca de metade da velocidade da luz no v\u00e1cuo.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-b8d21b1 wd-width-100 elementor-widget elementor-widget-wd_title\" data-id=\"b8d21b1\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"wd_title.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"title-wrapper wd-set-mb reset-last-child wd-title-color-primary wd-title-style-underlined wd-title-size-large text-left\">\n\n\t\t\t\n\t\t\t<div class=\"liner-continer\">\n\t\t\t\t<h2 class=\"woodmart-title-container title wd-fontsize-xxl\">Quando a correspond\u00eancia de comprimento \u00e9 necess\u00e1ria<\/h2> \n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-57808ea color-scheme-inherit text-left elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"57808ea\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>Nem todos os sinais exigem correspond\u00eancia de comprimento. Deveria ser aplicado <strong>apenas onde o desvio de tempo pode causar falhas funcionais<\/strong>. Na pr\u00e1tica, isso significa focar em <strong>interfaces de alta velocidade<\/strong> onde m\u00faltiplos sinais devem chegar dentro de uma janela de tempo restrita \u2014 frequentemente da ordem de <em>picossegundos<\/em>. Os sinais de endere\u00e7o, comando, dados e strobe devem atender a rigorosos requisitos de setup e hold no dispositivo de mem\u00f3ria. SuperSpeed:<\/p><ul><li>Os pares diferenciais de TX e RX devem ser precisamente emparelhados dentro de cada par, normalmente entre 10 e 20 mils.<\/li><li>Geralmente n\u00e3o h\u00e1 um requisito estrito de correspond\u00eancia entre pares, mas deve-se evitar desvio excessivo.<\/li><li>O USB4 opera em taxas de dados muito altas e, portanto, possui um or\u00e7amento de tempo muito mais
