Their goal was to create a physiological monitoring platform specifically for professional athletes.<\/p><p>During initial discussions, the client explained that they were exploring the development of a wearable capable of tracking human biomarkers and integrating the collected data with existing AI systems. rating\u201d (e.g., IP67) is insufficient.<\/p><p>\ud83d\udc49 Waterproof \u2260 Sweatproof<\/p><p>Sweat is not just a liquid\u2014it\u2019s an electrolytic solution that can accelerate corrosion.<\/p><p><strong>Solution approach:<\/strong><\/p><p>We recommended mitigating the risk on three fronts:<\/p><ul><li><em>Material level:<\/em><\/li><\/ul><p>Apply corrosion-resistant surface treatments (e.g., ENIG or selective gold plating) to key areas, avoiding exposed copper<\/p><ul><li><em>Structural level:<\/em><\/li><\/ul><p>Seal sensitive areas to prevent sweat strategy:<\/strong><\/p><p>In the PCB design phase, we focused on:<\/p><ul><li><em>Analog\/Digital isolation:<\/em> Prevent high-speed digital signals from interfering with the analog front end<\/li><li><em>Grounding strategy:<\/em> Use continuous reference planes to reduce return path impedance<\/li><li><em>Signal shielding and routing optimization:<\/em> Short paths, differential or
